General Terms and Conditions

Please read these booking terms and conditions carefully as they apply to all reservations made at Dar Jasmine. We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time without prior notice.

Early Departure : In case of early departure during the stay, the remaining nights will be charged in full.

GUARANTEE AND DEPOSIT
A valid credit card is required to guarantee the reservation.

CANCELLATION POLICY

Flexible Rate
Free cancellation up to 7 days before arrival.
To cancel, please send an email to within the above deadline. We will confirm your cancellation by email.
If cancellation occurs within 7 days prior to arrival, the full booking amount will be charged.
No-shows will be charged 100% of the total stay amount, including taxes.

Non-Refundable Rate
Full prepayment including taxes is required and will be charged at the time of booking.
This booking is non-refundable. Any cancellation will incur a 100% charge of the stay amount.

CHECK-IN / CHECK-OUT
Check-in after 3:00 PM
Check-out before 12:00 PM (noon)
Late check-out may be booked in advance subject to availability and charged at the rate of one night.

INSURANCE
It is strongly recommended that you and all members of your party take out adequate travel insurance covering cancellation, interruption, medical expenses, repatriation, loss of luggage, personal effects, damages, bodily injury, and cash/valuables.
We disclaim all responsibility for loss or damage to guests’ belongings left in their rooms or anywhere on the premises.

PRICE GUARANTEE
Prices displayed on our website may vary. Prices may increase or decrease, and you will see the updated price for your selected rooms before confirming your reservation. Please note that once you agree on a price and confirm your booking, that price is the one you will pay. If the price decreases later, you will not be entitled to the lower rate.

MINORS
We do not accept bookings made by minors. Guests must be at least 18 years old and legally competent.

SPECIAL REQUESTS
If you have special requests not included in the standard accommodation services described on this website (e.g., specific dietary requirements), please notify us before booking. We will try to accommodate these requests but cannot guarantee them.

ACCESSIBILITY
Unfortunately, the Medina of Chefchaouen, with its very narrow streets and old buildings, is not wheelchair accessible. Dar Jasmine has no elevator; access to upper floors, including the rooftop terrace, is by stairs only.

NON-SMOKING POLICY
Please note that smoking is prohibited in all rooms and suites at Dar Jasmine. Smoking is permitted only in certain outdoor areas.

IF WE MODIFY YOUR ACCOMMODATION
We strive to provide the services as confirmed. However, some changes to accommodation and services may occur, for example due to maintenance. In such cases, we reserve the right to replace your room with one of the same or higher category. If no suitable alternative can be provided, we reserve the right to cancel the booking, with notification by email. Any deposit paid will be refunded.

PRESERVER LA SERENITE : POLITIQUE EN CAS DE DOMMAGES
At Dar Jasmine, we take great pride in offering a well-kept and harmonious environment to all our visitors. Therefore, we kindly ask our dear guests to take care of the premises and the amenities provided. In the event of any material damage, the hotel reserves the right to charge for the cost of repair or replacement. Furthermore, if the behavior of a guest or any member of their party is, in the reasonable opinion of management, likely to cause damage to the property or harm the well-being of other guests, the hotel reserves the right to terminate the stay of that guest or their party member without any refund. In such cases, no refund or compensation will be provided for any costs or expenses incurred due to the early termination of the stay, and the guest will be liable to reimburse us for any damage caused.

ENTRY TO THE HOTEL
We reserve the right to refuse entry or access to hotel rooms or any other hotel areas at any time. The protection of guests, visitors, hotel property, and reputation is paramount.
You are responsible at all times for the conduct of your guests and visitors while on the premises, including, but not limited to, their behavior and ensuring no noise or disturbance. You and your guests must comply with all reasonable instructions from hotel management. Anyone suspected of soliciting or disturbing guests or visitors will be refused access.

PROHIBITED USES OF HOTEL SERVICES
You agree, for yourself and your guests or visitors, not to use the hotel or its services for illegal purposes or in violation of Moroccan law or any relevant legislation. Examples (non-exhaustive) include:

  • Committing criminal offenses, including possession or use of drugs, firearms, or hunting rifles.
  • Discriminatory behavior (verbal or otherwise) based on sex, race, disability, age, or sexual orientation toward guests, visitors, or staff.
  • Any verbal or non-verbal conduct considered violent, intimidating, or harassing.
  • Behavior invading the privacy of others including guests, visitors, or staff.
  • Hosting prostitutes or persons employed for sexual gratification at the hotel.
  • Impersonating an employee, agent, or representative of the hotel.
  • Actions damaging the hotel’s morality, reputation, or name.
  • Running a business on hotel premises without written permission.
  • Soliciting goods or services from guests, visitors, or staff without consent.
  • Installing recording or surveillance equipment anywhere on the premises.
  • Filming or photographing for public use on-site without prior written consent; commercial photography or filming without written approval; unauthorized use of the hotel’s intellectual property including trademarks or trade names.

FORCE MAJEURE
This includes, but is not limited to, events such as war, threat of war, riots, civil unrest, government actions, terrorism, natural or industrial disasters, fires, adverse weather conditions, floods, airport closures; as well as conflicts involving third parties, technical or maintenance issues, or operational decisions by carriers such as schedule changes or IT/internet failures.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, we shall not be liable or obliged to compensate you if such events beyond our control prevent or affect the performance of our contractual obligations.
